Hello from Shirakawamura!

Hello to all the people who have been following us in Japanese only.
Now I have joined to the village and I will be in charge of international customer service.

Sorry I forgot to introduce myself.
My name is Moyuru Umemoto and I have moved to this World Heritage site, Shirakawamura since this month.
I was previously working at functional ingredient manufacturer in Gifu.
Before that, I was in NZ for about 8 years for schooling.
My mission is to promote Shirakawamura to the world and provide the best customer experience for the people from different countries.

This village, has problems like other country areas of Japan.
When we think about it, it might be very little what we can do but I believe doing is far better than doing nothing!

This is a drainage maintenance cover which can be easily found in Shirakawamura.
I reckon these gassho-zukuri houses are so cool!

私、梅本は外国人顧客おもてなしサポート担当ということで、英語でブログを書かせていただきます。日本語のみの方も、お付き合いくださいませ。
